Unto Northshield's Rapier Combatants come greetings from Siegfried and Elizabeth,

As other monarchs before Us, We are deeply proud of Our rapier community's commitment to their Kingdom and to the pursuit of excellence in their art. We would like to honor your achievements by giving you the greatest opportunity in Northshield's history to showcase your talent. Thus, We invite all of Our Kingdom's rapier fighters to test their skill and resolve in The Crown's Diamond Challenge at Haire Affaire, February 13th, in the Shire of Falcon's Keep.

In collaboration with Our Order of the White Scarf, We have devised the most rigorous and demanding rapier tournament Our Kingdom has ever seen.
That person who is fortunate enough to land the final blow of the day will, without a doubt, be thought of as the best Northshield has to offer on the rapier lists. The preparation, athleticism, and skill needed to achieve such a feat shall be rewarded by your Crown with the highest honors We can bestow. Accordingly, the victor of the tournament will be given the title of the King's Rapier Champion and will be Our selection to represent Northshield in one of the most prestigious rapier tournaments in the Known World, the Diamond Tournament at Gulf Wars.Should the victor not be able to make the journey Gulf Wars, the honor of admittance into the Diamond Tourney will be afforded to the highest placing combatant who attends.

We hope everyone makes an effort to compete, but be warned, given the demands of the format it is strongly recommended that you begin your training in earnest as soon as possible. Even the best fencers in Northshield will find it difficult to advance to the later rounds if they have not prepared themselves to perform at their peak.
